Becky Earl, soprano, is a Reno native, earning a BA in music from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has been performing with the Nevada Opera chorus since the American Premiere of Joan of Arc in 1976, and has performed roles with the company including the Novice (Sour Angelica), Isabel (Pirates of Penzance), and Juno (Orpheus in the Underworld), in addition to several comprimari roles. Becky also performed Adele (Die Fledermaus), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Polly (Three Penny Opera), and Lucy (The Telephone) with the UNR Opera Theatre, and Sister Berta (The Sound of Music) with Hadassa. Most recently Becky has been a soloist in the Company’s annual Opera in Blue Jeans, as well as a duet and ensemble in NVO's Jukebox Unhinged. Becky works at UNR as an International Admissions Specialist.
