Speakers Bureau - From the drama of love betrayed to the joy of love found to gorgeous music, exquisite costumes, scenery and lighting:  Nevada Opera productions have it all.  Let the Speakers Bureau introduce your group to our extraordinary world.  Our experts address civic and social organizations, philanthropic groups, schools and libraries free of charge.  You may select a presentation on any opera performed during our season or we can customize a talk to suit your needs.  Please contact the Nevada Opera office if you are interested in having a speaker for your event or organization.

Pre-Performance Talks - Audiences get the full story at our complimentary pre-opera talks sponsored by the Nevada Opera Guild.  Join other opera-goers in the Exhibition Hall of the Pioneer Center to listen to Nevada's most engaging and highly spirited Artistic Director, Michael Borowitz, present entertaining and informative talks about the opera you are about to see.  Talks are scheduled one hour prior to each performance.  Free of charge to those attending the performance.  Reservations are not required, but seats fill up quickly so be sure to get there early!

One of the most exciting outreach programs Nevada Opera offers is free dress rehearsal tickets for special groups.  We invite middle and high school students chaperoned by music, theater and language teachers (we request 1 chaperone per 10 students).  Tickets are also offered to special populations (physically or mentally challenged citizens as well as senior citizens living in group homes).  Find out if your group qualifies for underwritten tickets by contacting the Nevada Opera office.
